The Senior Administrative Associate, under direction, organizes and coordinates office operations and procedures related to advancement and alumni engagement functions to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.Â Functions as a departmental liaison to stakeholders and directly supports unit administrators.Â
Provides administrative support for advancement and alumni engagement functions; managing communications through drafting and records, producing reports, managing special projects, and planning events.Â Coordinate meetings, including the preparation of agendas, meeting minutes, and supplemental documents.Â Responsible for procurement activities associated with advancement and alumni engagement.Â
Maintains and updates respective databases associated with advancement and alumni engagement in accordance with applicable procedures.Â Related activities include, but are not limited to, individual/organization profile creation, data imports and exports, gift entry, interaction entries, address verifications, and reporting.
Reconciles financial transactions related to advancement and alumni engagement with financial services.Â Assists in the review and/or development of applicable financial reports.
Assists in providing customer service to donors, alumni, and other university stakeholders.
Assists in developing and maintaining written procedure manuals for activities associated with advancement and alumni engagement in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Six years of related experience.
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Interpersonal and communication skills. Planning and organization skills.
Bachelorâ™s degree and two years related experience with donor relations, gift processing, accounting or related area.
