The iconic Framingham Heart Study (FHS) which began in 1948 and has enrolled three generations of Framingham residents to study cardiovascular disease, is seeking a Research Center Manager to be responsible for the execution and evaluation of volunteer participants in a non-invasive research examination. In addition to leading Research Center staff, the manager will perform measurements such as ECG, anthropometry and blood pressure and coordinate questionnaires to study participants. This Manager will also review charts, keep logs, maintain protocol adherence, prepare reports and attend staff meetings. They will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure quality and consistency of exam operations at FHS.
Bachelors degree in medical technology or related science field with some knowledge of medical terminology required
The manager must have a friendly affect and be comfortable working with study participants.
The schedule is Monday-Friday. Hours are slightly variable depending on daily exam schedule, with start and end times between 6:00-7:00am and 3:00-4:00pm, respectively. Occasional Saturdays are required, along with offsite examinations at participants' homes.
