The Sol Price School of Public Policy is seeking a Program Specialist to join its team. This position works closely with leadership and senior administrators, faculty and staff. The incumbent will be responsible for a variety of administrative functions including but not limited to:
Provide administrative support for academic and faculty affairs
Provide support for the coordination of part-time and adjunct faculty recruitment including position postings, applicant management, and adjunct contract support
Maintaining faculty teaching tracking
Maintains and coordinates adjunct faculty review schedules and assists with review materials as needed
Maintains master adjunct faculty listings school-wide and by department
Manage school-wide grade submissions and change of grade forms
Assist with teaching evaluations as needed
Maintain personnel files for adjuncts and update the USC Gold files as needed
Help with the development of faculty onboarding materials for the Price school
Provide administrative support for various meetings
Provide assistance to faculty with for administrative matters such as Workday access and other general inquiries related to appointments and onboarding
Prepare reports for management on various teaching and faculty related data and trends as requested
Help with the development of faculty databases and reports as needed
Help with the development of online resources for faculty and staff around policies and procedures
Serves as cross-trained backup and overflow support for the team â including faculty contracts, classroom scheduling, etc.
Other special projects as assigned
Candidate should be able to demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills as well as analytic capacity and strong attention to detail.
Bachelorâs degree and minimum 3 years of experience in a related position in an academic setting. Experience with faculty contracts a plus.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook. Experience with other databases and large volumes of data preferred.
