Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Participate in clerical duties related to research studies including copying, scanning, updating publication lists, proofreading, creating and formatting bibliographies. Draft, edit and organize material for preparation of surveys, research papers, manuscripts, and progress reports using Word and EndNote. Perform library searches and other investigative techniques to locate measures, scales, etc., to be used in survey instrument development. Develop and test surveys and check skip logic and flow in questionnaires and organize and code incoming open end survey question responses. Process, organize and summarize data and generate tables and graphs using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
This is a one-year term position with possibility of extension, contingent on work performance and continued funding to support the position.
During the current period of COVID-19 related restrictions, this position will start as a remote position with the transition to onsite at our HMS campus in Boston, Massachusetts when the office reopens.

A minimum of two years related research experience required ( relevant course work may count towards experience).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team in collaboration with a wide range of people, from administrative staff to faculty. Ability to work with autonomy and use discretion and sound judgement. Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent attention to detail required to respond effectively to varied and complex tasks. Familiarity with survey research, publication preparation, and/or event coordination preferred.
