Primary Purpose and Essential Functions: The Eberhardt School of Business at University of the Pacific invites applications for a part-time, two semester appointment in business analytics. Applicants should demonstrate success in teaching courses in business analytics. The candidate should have a master's degree in business analytics, or a related field, or substantial experience as a business analytics practitioner. Preference will be given to candidates with a master's degree in business analytics. The candidate must be able to provide instruction at the undergraduate and graduate level in business analytics in the BSBA and in the MSBA.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should demonstrate successful experience teaching business analytics at the undergraduate and graduate level. The candidate should have either a masters degree in business analytics, or in a related field, or substantial practical experience in business analytics. A masters degree or its equivalent in the field of specialization and promise of teaching success and of scholarly or artistic achievements; a candidate without a masters degree must have equivalent educational or professional experience in the appropriate area of instructional responsibility, and the recommendation for appointment must contain a statement of this equivalence.
The rank of Instructor is not a tenure eligible appointment. No one may hold the rank of instructor on a full-time continuous appointment for more than three years or for more than two years with one or more years of prior full-time four year college or University teaching experience.
