East Carolina University, Greenville, NC, invites applications for an anticipated full-time teaching instructor, teaching assistant professor, or teaching associate professor in the Department of Mathematics, contingent upon funding, beginning August 16, 2021. Duties include teaching mathematics and/or statistics courses at the undergraduate level. A typical teaching load is to teach 4 courses (12 credit hours) per semester. Service to the university, community, and profession is expected. This non-tenure-track position is for the Fall and Spring semesters of 2021-2022 academic year only, with the possibility of subsequent appointments.

A Masters degree or higher and 18 graduate-level credit hours in Mathematics and/or Statistics is required for appointment as teaching instructor. In addition to the requirements for teaching instructor, a terminal degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or closely related field appropriate to the area of instruction is required for consideration for appointment as teaching associate professor or teaching assistant professor.
