This position will be responsible for teaching an asynchronous online engineering course (offered by teep.tufts.edu) for K-12 Educators. We have multiple positions that span content and pedagogy concepts. Our content courses require robotics knowledge (controls, programming) and deep knowledge of engineering and engineering design. Our pedagogy courses require knowledge of engineering education research in K-12, STEM pedagogy and teaching, and teacher education. The 14-week course requires the instructor to post weekly videos, interact with students, and provide feedback on students work (14-20 students). The course is supported by undergraduate teaching assistant. The course instructor will need to be available for office hours by appointment and a weekly meeting with the program director.

The ideal candidate will possess prior teaching experience, especially with undergraduate students, and have an engaging teaching style. Knowledge and experience in conducting engineering education research is a plus. The candidate must have a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring. A graduate degree is preferred but not required.
