Manage, populate, maintain and expand a resource repository of potential speakers, visiting lecturers, and faculty recruits. Create and implement a process for identifying and researching candidates for the repository, including, but not limited to, communicating with HMS departments, HMS affiliated hospitals offices of diversity and inclusion, faculty and administrator to identify potential candidates at local and national discipline-specific and general medical/science meetings and other venues, and performing web research for potential candidates. Identify and research Harvard minority and women alums for resource repository. Develop and implement a mechanism to provide information for potential speakers/lecturers and/or searches to Harvard and HMS-affiliated departments. Develop and implement a DICP Lecture Series and work as a team to develop and implement annual leadership and faculty development program involving HMS, and HMS-affiliated institutions. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting and communicating with lecturers/speakers and coordinating event planning for events, such as, but not limited to, marketing/publicity, program dissemination, logistics, registration. Co-coordinate DICP/PFDI faculty fellowship program and Dean's postdoctoral fellowship program by marketing/publicizing fellowships, managing the application and selection process. Maintain close communication with faculty and postdoctoral fellows to apprise them of on-going HMS leadership and career development programs. Coordinate and participate in meetings with HMS Diversity Affiliates Committee, prepare meeting minutes and reports. Provide assistance with other office programs/activities/initiatives as needed.
During the current period of COVID-19 related restrictions, this position will start as a remote position with the transition to onsite at our HMS campus in Boston, Massachusetts when the office reopens.

Five or more years related experience, or an equivalent of education plus relevant business experience
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and have superior organizational and communication skills. Must be energetic, take initiative, and be able to work with autonomy and with a team. Knowledge of FileMaker Pro, MS Office and other database software. Strong interest in database building and expansion as well as programs related to education, career and professional development. Demonstrate an ability to communicate with highly diverse group of people and exhibit sensitivity to cultural differences.
