Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY seeks a mathematics instructor to teach Calculus I in Fall 2021 and Calculus II in Spring 2022. The College plans to return to primarily in-person engagement in the 2021-2022 academic year.
The position is a half time guest appointment, requires two full days of presence on campus each semester, and is compensated as a half-time appointment. Prior college-level teaching experience in Calculus is required. In addition to teaching classes (maximum 15 students per course), the faculty member will meet one-on-one with each student every other week to assist them with the conception, design and execution of an individualized project related to mathematics and their interests.
