Primary Purpose and Essential Functions: This is a non-tenure track position with teaching, precepting, and service being the primary responsibilities. The faculty in this position will have a split 50/50 appointment for precepting clinical experiences at a designated off-campus practice site and teaching on-campus courses. The faculty in this position will precept advanced and introductory pharmacy practice experience (APPE and IPPE) courses at the designated practice site. The faculty will also teach in the case-based and pharmacy skills courses on-campus, in an accelerated Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) curriculum. In addition to required teaching and service, scholarly activity is highly recommended. Other faculty responsibilities will be assigned, as needed, at the discretion of the department Chair.
Minimum Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or closely related discipline plus a valid California pharmacist license.
