The new Hansen lab is inviting highly qualified, inquisitive scientists to apply for positions as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. The focus of our research is to understand how the basic cellular recycling process called autophagy is regulated during aging, using the nematode C. elegans and mammalian cell culture systems and a combination of biochemical, imaging, and genetic approaches. Successful applicants for this career-development position will be involved in defining their own research direction.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a biological science or related field and a strong publication record.
