Reporting to the Associate Athletics Director, Communications & Digital Media, the Coordinator/Assistant Director, Name, Image & Likeness Services will manage student-athlete Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) education and support efforts for DAPER. This new position will serve as the point person for Stanford's unique in-house approach to NIL, and will synchronize that approach with new and existing student-athlete recruitment efforts.
Your responsibilities include:
Lead DAPER's NIL program, conceptualizing and coordinating programming and resources which pair current Stanford student-athletes with campus and alumni networks and resources
Drive Stanford's NIL education through key topics including NCAA compliance, personal branding, team culture and dynamics, sourcing and evaluating opportunities and more.
Spearhead consistent meetings of DAPER and campus stakeholders including but not limited to Compliance, Student-Athlete Development, Academic Services, Development and External Relations.
Stay updated on the latest NIL trends, including legislative advancements, NCAA compliance regulations and vendor landscape evolutions
Participate in virtual and in-person recruiting meetings
Create and execute social and digital media strategies which enhance the student-athlete recruitment efforts of all sport programs

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience
Demonstrated leadership, planning, and change management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills and presence at all levels and for all audiences
Ability to influence people, solve problems, troubleshoot, think creatively, and resolve conflicts
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated editorial and storytelling skills
Strategic expertise and vision in the digital media landscape
Demonstrated passion for intercollegiate athletics
Willingness to work nights and weekends occasionally
This position, along with all DAPER coaches and staff, is responsible for the integrity of Stanford's intercollegiate athletics program and for the reputation of Stanford University. This position is responsible for ensuring that his/her/their involvement with Athletics Department activities maintains the integrity of the University's reputation and does not negatively impact the relationship between the University and its faculty, staff, students and alumni. Additionally, this position must comply with University policies and procedures, NCAA and Pac-12 rules and regulations.
