Accurate and timely mail delivery to all departments on campus;
Accurate, timely and cost effective processing of outgoing mail;
Receiving and recording incoming freight shipments to central receiving;
Timely distribution of paper/parcels campus-wide
Primary Responsibilities :
Accurate sorting and delivery of incoming mail throughout the university;
Accurate processing of outgoing mail for optimum postage discounts;
Operation of mail processing equipment and equipment used for distribution including pallet jacks and fork lift;
Processing of parcel shipments via UPS and USPS;
Receive and record freight deliveries through central receiving;
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow all safety regulations;
Provide backup assistance to Copy Center on an as needed basis
Perform duties of a similar nature and responsibility within Copy Center area, Mail/Distribution, and Business Operations as needed.
Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record;
Capable of frequent lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods;
Data entry skills involving both speed and accuracy;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
