The GI Division at UCSF is in search of a gastroenterologist to join the faculty at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG) at the level of Assistant Professor. Duties will include rotating as attending physician on a busy inpatient consult service, performing elective and emergent endoscopic procedures, and staffing specialty clinics in gastroenterology or non-transplant hepatology depending on expertise. Applications are welcome from individuals with a strong desire to contribute to a GI training program and make an individual contribution to scholarship in GI education, research or health policy. The amount of time to be spent in clinical/scholarly activity will depend upon the applicant’s qualifications and promise. Applicants must be MDs board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
