The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, is searching for a full-time faculty member with a clinical focus on general GI and pancreas diseases. The appointee will have a mix of outpatient and inpatient clinical responsibilities, including outpatient clinic, inpatient consult service, and performing endoscopy procedures at our Hyde Park campus and at our Chicagoland area network locations. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology.
