Registered Nurse
The Registered Nurse serves to assist in the care of patients in the pediatric general surgery multidisciplinary clinics, including the LIFE and Bariatric Surgery programs, and provides education to both patients and staff in the care and management of children with pediatric surgical conditions. This clinician is experienced and highly skilled with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of caring for neonatal and pediatric patients. Under general supervision of the pediatric surgery providers, the nurse works independently to coordinate the clinical care for patients referred to the multidisciplinary pediatric surgery teams.
