The overall purpose of this position is to be an integral part of the Cyster lab research team working with other lab members on a range of immunobiology studies as the "lead" for molecular biology. Position will require a degree of independence and will be under general supervision.

1. Collaborate with other lab members on research projects that focus on Molecular Biology.
2. Helping with maintaining all molecular biology reagents (e.g., DNA constructs) in an organized library.
3. Helping with core lab management tasks.

This job is a balancing act and requires an organized person with talent for multi-tasking. Effective communication skills are necessary to ensure efficient communication with multiple lab members from different backgrounds. The job is performed under general direction where goals and objectives are broadly outlined and there is the expectation of important original contributions pertaining to laboratory and/or field experimental procedures.
