Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Administration & Communications, the incumbent will work in the Assistant Vice Chancellor's (AVC) immediate office and be the Lead Operations Coordinator responsible for administrative, communications, and operational activities of the department. Assists department directors, managers, and supervisors with resource allocation, problem resolution, complicated operational issues, space planning, and general long range and strategic planning. Plans and implements department-level communications to improve organizational effectiveness and executes an external communications strategy to improve the organization's public relations. Designs and develops strategies in all areas of operations that take into account the diverse nature of the department. The incumbent will provide high level analysis and problem solving to address an array of issues within the AVC Office. In addition, the incumbent will provide management coordination and functions in the areas of budget, human resources, policy planning, space planning, security access and events. This position will serve as department uniform coordinator servicing over 300 staff. Additionally, the incumbent will manage the department vehicle fleet program which includes over 28 vehicles, 40 permits, and stall expenditures and will need to provide reports on a continual basis.

This position will also provide executive analytical support and office administration support as it pertains to high-level meetings, goal tracking for the Leadership as well, and all purchase requisition as it flows through the FS Immediate Office and hits the Departmental Overhead Budget. The incumbent will also serve on multiple committees in CLS as ambassador to FS.

**Note: Hybrid Remote Option based upon department discretion. Mission Bay is the primary location.
