The Division of Comprehensive Otolaryngology in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Stanford University seeks a board-eligible or board-certified otolaryngologist to join the Division as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor in either the University Medical Line or the Clinician Educator Line. Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the University Medical Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

The successful applicant should be board-eligible or board-certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

We expect the successful candidate to develop an active clinical practice in general otolaryngology, be an active teacher of medical students and residents, oversee the clinical program, and (for MCL) maintain an excellent clinical and/or translational research program.
