Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree from ALA-accredited school of library and/or information studies;
• Two or more years of professional library experience, including electronic resource management;
• Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communication skills;
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and collaboratively, within a collegial environment;
• A commitment to continuous service improvement and innovation;
• Working knowledge of integrated library systems as used by collection management units, including reporting functions and the structure and management of online catalogs;
• An aptitude for and interest in project planning and management, as well as excellent organizational, time-management, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge of technical services; knowledge of acquisitions and serial practices and procedures; knowledge of serial/electronic resources issues and emerging trends; knowledge of publishing trends, book and subscription trade;
• Experience with automated library systems, preferably Sirsi Symphony Workflows or FOLIO;
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic cataloging and bibliographic principles for both print and electronic serials.

Working Conditions

May work extended hours, evenings and weekends.
