Internal Number: 95174 Bing Nursery School is part of the School of Humanities and Sciences at Stanford University and serves as a laboratory for the Department of Psychology. The department established the school in 1949, and the current building in 1966, to serve as a site for research and training in child development. It provides high quality educational programs to over 550 young children (2-5 years) each year, their parents, students in training, research and teaching faculty, and educators worldwide. Supervise, plan and implement educational experiences for pre-school children with a child development focus in a laboratory school setting to support faculty research and undergraduate instruction in developmental psychology and early education. Coordinate with multiple researchers and supervise, guide, mentor and grade undergraduate students. CORE DUTIES*:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education & Experience: Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or related field. Supervisory training and courses. Demonstrated excellence in supervisory experience. Four years of experience teaching in the field of Early Childhood Education. Experience teaching in a laboratory school highly desirable.
