Job Description:
Under limited supervision, this position provides behind-the-wheel instruction and non-credit program oversight. No classroom instruction required. Training outcome checklist is provided.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old;
- Must have been a valid licensed driver for three years in Minnesota or another United States state;
- Must have a valid driver's license for the class of motor vehicle for which the applicant wants to provide instruction;
- Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent; and
- Must show proof of completion of an approved commercial driver training program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to provide instruction and guide students with on-site and behind-the-wheel skills attainment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Computer skills sufficient to conduct timesheet and basic student data entry.
